January 16, 2015 – Damn it was cold outside on this night, but it was hotter than hell inside the Rockpile! On this night we were about to witness the mayhem that only CRÜED The Notorious Mötley Crüe tribute band can display. Before we get into that though, we need to callout the opening acts.
Chasing Shadows is a band that’s definitely got a bright future ahead of it! This incredibly talented band consists of Josh Aguas on Bass, Mike Henley Vocals and keyboard, Tyler Chambers on Drums, and Zane Hawley Lead Guitar. If you are a fan of progressive rock with metal feel to it, you will definitely get into their brand of music. I highly recommend catching this young band as they will restore your faith that the rock torch is being carried on to the next generation! Very much sounding like Dream Theater (they even did a cover of the band tonight) their on stage mastery rivals musicians many decades older than them. We caught up with the band and will have a video interview ready shortly. This is a band we will be following in the future and will be rooting for their quest since their passion for rock is clearly evident.
Following Chasing Shadows was Amore. This glam rock band puts on an electrifying and stellar show! The band consists of Mitch Knight on Guitar and Vocals, Rick Priest Bass and Vocals, Eric Cayen on Drums. A throwback to the era of Alice Cooper/Kiss/Spinal Tap the makeup oddly enough did not detract from the music. Not exactly hair metal but certainly a fun ride from these three very talented musicians. Pretty much a perfect choice for direct support for CRÜED.

Now on to the main event…CRÜED.
CRÜED puts on a wicked show each and every time. They are so much fun to watch and they recreate Mötley Crüe’s music to perfection!
The most impressive thing about CRÜED is the amount of detail they put on for each of their shows – from the reproduction of the Mötley Crüe outfits to the objects strategically placed on stage this is a tribute band that gets it! Tonight the guys had the Saints Of Los Angeles outfits on.
We had a chance to interview the band and you can check out our feature on CRÜED right here which includes concert footage from the night:
CRÜED started off the night in an explosive manner and utilized these amazing lights with smoke that made the stage seem as if it was on fire. Clearly they take the concert experience very seriously yet have a ton of fun on stage. Their fans are rewarded with an incredible band full of heart, and in return their fans are faithful to the band. This is evident from the fact they won the sound check stage artist for the KISS Kruise IV this past summer!
CRÜED has stage presence and gave it their all to deliver a highly entertaining set of music. The band is tight, crisp and was on fire this night. I can’t say enough about this band! There were plenty of highlights on the night but the audience singalong for Home Sweet Home was electrifying as was Robbie Roxx’s killer guitar solo that set The Rockpile on fire.
CRÜED is the NUMBER 1 Mötley Crüe tribute band in the world and as Vince Neil states, “These guys really kick ass!” In conclusion it was partymania at The Rockpile with CRÜED leading the way! They simply KILLED it!
