May 9 2013 – Until recently, Dublin based singer/songwriter Donna Dunne was a hidden gem on that little green island of Ireland. But that all changed with the release of her first EP, Woman in Black. The title song is an exciting mix of 50’s Rock ‘n’ Roll, and Rockabilly flavored blues; Almost a combination of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Wanda Jackson all rolled into one.
Donna has long been known for her finely crafted writing as well as her incredible live performances, appearing at some of Ireland’s most notable festivals. Now, after numerous live interviews and being playlisted on Ireland’s RTE 1 Radio, Donna Dunne is at last being recognized as one of today’s most exciting new artists.
Donna has been writing and recording new songs, producing new music videos and a brand new record release is planned for this year as well.
The Donna Dunne Band will be taking the UK by storm with a planned summer tour and, bowing to the non-stop requests from promoters and music venues a like, Donna Dunne will be touring in America in October.

Been to lots of Donna Dunna’s gigs – she is fantastic. Its great to see such talent emerge from Dublin and indeed I am sure such success will follow her for her many planned tours abroad.
