Eclipse’s impressive stage show |
Sep 8 2011 – Eclipse – The Pink Floyd Story is a Pink Floyd tribute band which will be playing the 1,727 seat Toronto Center for the Arts on Saturday November 5th. The premise of the show that has us very excited is that they will trace the chronological progression of Pink Floyd throughout the night. The band recently returned from a gig in Belgium in which they filled a hall twice the size, and are thus no strangers to large venues. The show promises a faithful recreation of the majesty of Pink Floyd including classic multimedia elements such as lasers, oval screen and (fingers crossed) the flying pig. We are looking forward to the show and will be there to cover it. In the meantime to satisfy your Pink Floyd hunger make sure you read our coverage (and watch our videos) of Roger Waters’ The Wall tour the night that David Gilmour stood on top of The Wall in London, England.
Eclipse is a reference to the last track on the definitive rock album of all time – The Dark Side of the Moon. Word has it that the band will play The Dark Side of the Moon end to end this night! Tickets are available now at Ticketmaster.ca.
