Dec 2 2010 – Today I finalized my flights and hotel for the annual pilgrimage to Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES http://www.cesweb.org/ ) in early January. This show is mind blowing in both its size and the amount of technology in one spot. Last year there were 120,000 attendees and everything in Vegas seems to be packed. Granted when you go there for work, you don’t get much time to see all the new tech – and to be honest most of the time I have to read about what is cool from technology websites rather than getting to see things myself. Once in a while you do run into awesome things as you spend some time in the massive exhibit hall(s). Last year I recall seeing a 152 inch Plasma TV at the Panasonic booth, and took a quick photo. I can’t imagine what this would cost but, boy was it ever cool. Can’t wait to see what new awesome tech is being shown this year and how much bigger the Plasma TV’s will be. Anyone else going to CES?

Wish I could go too :/ Maybe you won't have enough time to see everything but at least you'll see something

Totally agree – much better to see something than nothing. Last year it was all about 3D TV's it seemed like. I hope this year features something more exciting, but there really is something for everyone there.
