TORONTO, ON – Canadian rock band One Bad Son return to the road this fall for the Psycho Killer tour with Australia’s The Lazys opening on all dates. This is the last time fans can catch One Bad Son in concert before they head into the studio to record their fifth album. The group has had an incredible year to date, opening for the iconic Def Leppard and wrapping their first-ever headlining tour last spring. The 17-date Psycho Killer tour rides off the success of their fourth full-length album Black Buffalo (604 Records), which features their Top 5 single “Satellite Hotel” (Mediabase Active Rock Chart) and the title-track which hit #6 on the Mediabase Mainstream Rock Chart in June.
“It’s gonna be loud and it’s gonna be rowdy,” says frontman Shane Volk. “We’ve been writing a ton so people can expect to hear new One Bad Son music live. These are the last shows of 2015 so we’re going to make every one of them count and with our friends, The Lazys, opening every show you can bet we’ll be melting that cold Canadian air!“
Formed in Saskatoon over 10 years ago and working non-stop ever since, One Bad Son’s Black Buffalo builds off the success of the band’s 2012 self-titled album, featuring their breakout single “Scarecrows,” which hit Top 5 and “Retribution Blues” which found a home at #6 on the Active Rock Chart (Mediabase). Now based out of Vancouver, the group have made a name for themselves performing alongside talent including Three Days Grace, Monster Truck, Theory of A Deadman, Default, Buckcherry, Airborne and Crash Karma.
Here is a taste of the band from a video we put together:
