July 29 2015 – Microsoft released the update to Windows 8 in 2013 and faced a major backlash from consumers. The root of the issues was that Microsoft was attempting to make a PC behave like a tablet. They quickly upped their game with Windows 8.1 but the situation did not improve drastically.
