Apr 23 2015 – Biblical made a long awaited Toronto appearance at the Horseshoe last Friday. The last time we caught Biblical was about 13 months ago also at the Horseshoe for the album release show for Monsoon Season. Since then they’ve been playing a lot of shows in the US, either on their own or as part of a tour opening for Death From Above 1979.
Biblical was incredible as always and played a lengthy set. They were joined by a third guitarist, J Howard. We don’t know if Howard has joined the band as a member (and suspect not) and they were as tight as ever. While playing, frontman Nick Sewell gravitates to drummer Jay Anderson like a moth to a light, and together they form a groove that holds everything together.
