Sept 16 2014 – From the Better Late Than Never files, here are some shots from long time Waterloo garage rockers Saigon Hookers, who headlined a Turbojugend night a couple weeks ago at the Bovine. Also on the bill were Electric Blood, the Fandemics and Four-Stroke, all from Toronto. It was a set of hard rocking high energy rock n roll featuring a couple friends guests, including the Darlings of Chelsea and Fandemics’ singer guitarist Paul Thomson. Highlight was the cover of Turbonegro’s Good Head. Saigon Hookers is Tommy Smokes on guitar and vocals, Lee Brook on bass and Tommy Guns on drums. Turbojugend, for those unfamiliar, is the fan club of Norwegian punk rockers Turbonegro. There are over 2300 chapters worldwide.
