September 1 2014 – As the lights go down at The EX – Torontonian’s know that summer is over. That’s all she wrote for 2014 and the unofficial end of summer is marked by the end of the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE). There truly was so much to see (and hear, and eat, and smell and touch) at the CNE 2014 we thought it was fitting to pay tribute to what the fair by the lake had to offer this year.
Entertainment featured shows by The Amazing Kreskin and ventriloquist Michael Harrison at the Variety Stage with full shows throughout the fair. The Superdogs Show and the Mirage acrobatic show at Ricoh Colliseum ensured that top notch entertainment was included in the price of admission.
The Kids World area features magic shows, birds of prey and reptiles show, as well as the stage full of TV favorites.
Rock music was provided by The Orchestra (members of ELO), Tom Cochrane, April Wine and Platinum Blonde.
We can’t wait to see the attendance figures but the good weather this year will ensure another record breaking year. See you in 2015 Ex.
