On Saturday, December 6, 2014 DISTANT WORLDS: music from FINAL FANTASY will make a triumphant return to the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. Cosplayers are welcome!
Tickets are now on sale for DISTANT WORLDS: music from FINAL FANTASY, conducted by Grammy Award-winning conductor, composer, and record producer Arnie Roth and featuring award-winning music and scenes from over 25 years FINAL FANTASY.
DISTANT WORLDS: music from FINAL FANTASY combines live orchestral music–performed by a full symphony orchestra, accompanied by the Tallis Choir of Toronto, and featuring special guest vocalist, Susan Calloway, the voice of FINAL FANTASY XIV theme song “Answers”–with cutting edge videos and art stills of the games most memorable sequences on a 26 foot wide screen, projected entirely in HD!
Since its 1987 debut the FINAL FANTASY franchise has sold over 110 million copies worldwide and has become the most recognized role playing game in the world. It continues to reach new players and fans with unique characters, compelling storylines and engaging game play. These elements have helped propel the series into numerous sequels, live productions and motion pictures.
