Oct. 6 2013 – While we certainly get our fill of good tribute bands in Toronto one band that needed some more representation was Black Sabbath. Today we are very pleased to announce that Classic Sabbath Live is ready to fill the void and we have 3 pairs of tickets to giveaway for you to see them at Toronto’s The Rockpile on Saturday November 2nd! Focusing on the Ozzy and Dio years, Classic Sabbath Live is made up of experienced musicians who at one time or another have played in some of the top Canadian Black Sabbath tributes of the 80s and 90s. With the amazing guitar work of the original Lady Evil Cheryl-Anne Ward (War Pigs 1992), the astounding vocal styling’s of Mark Konarowski, (original Mr Crowley 1985), the incredible bass of Dave Henley (Sabbath bloody Sabbath and Mr Crowley 80s and 90s) and with the addition of the phenomenal drummmer Elliot Pantich, the best of the best have come together to form the world’s foremost Black Sabbath tribute. The wait was worth it.
The real Black Sabbath was in Toronto a couple of months ago (sans Bill Ward), and we reviewed that show as our potential number 1 concert of 2013 (check out the review here), so we can’t wait to see what Classic Sabbath Live will deliver on November 2nd.
