August 26 2013 – Poster Party is an exhibition of a group of work by poster artists and printmakers who became friends while studying Printmaking at OCAD University. The premise of the exhibition is simple; we are a group of printmakers and friends who work in a medium that is produced in great quantities to be distributed to a greater audience. The exhibition will be a celebration of the poster as a work of art and the distribution of affordable art to the general public.
Please join us between 7pm-11pm on Wednesday, September 4th 2013 at Steam Whistle Brewing (255 Bremner Blvd) for the opening of this exciting gallery show. The show will also be on display during all of September.

About Steam Whistle Gallery:
Steam Whistle Brewing hosts monthly art exhibitions in their Gallery to showcase local creative talent. Although many exhibitors are established artists, some are showing for the first time. Steam Whistle does not charge rent for their gallery space, nor is a commission earned on any works that are sold. At the close of each show, one piece from the show (of the artist’s choice) is donated to their permanent collection bringing further profile to artists through the thousands of visitors to the brewery annually.
