August 21 2013 – It takes more than persistence for a film festival to stay relevant in the increasingly competitive Toronto Film Festival circuit. After eight ground breaking years of cinematic offerings from the Caribbean diaspora, CaribbeanTales Toronto Film Festival stands as a testament to the power of island stories and the multitude of unique voices seldom heard in mainstream films and TMAK. World will be there. Helming this years film incubator is founder, Frances-Anne Solomon, Chief Executive Officer, CaribbeanTales Film Festival Group.
From September 4th – 14th, Toronto’s Harbourfront Center will be screening the Official Competition Films, comprising the best new films of the past year from the Caribbean Region. Below is the 2013 CaribbeanTales Toronto Film Festival program lineup:
