| The Boxing Lesson |
Nov 8 2012 – Back in June of 2012 we interviewed a band from Austin, Texas named The Boxing Lesson as part of their NXNE 2012 gig. As part of our Emerging Artist Spotlight series, The Boxing Lesson were a really good read and we highly recommended checking them out. That interview can be read here.
Now we get word from The Boxing Lesson that they are finishing up a new album entitled Big Hits which is expected to hit the street Q1 2013. Big Hits is produced by Chris Frenchie Smith (Toadies, Trial of Dead, Ume, The Darkness) and as such we expect it to be a big production. One of the songs named Better Daze will be on the new album and is also featured on the b-side of Health is the New Drug 7″ vinyl single. Check it out it really does rock and the video is quite cool.
