Oct 25 2012 – We previously announced Whisky Rocks here and are very excited about this special night (we do love Rock and we love Whisky!)
“This year at Whisky Rocks, Canadian Rock Legends The Trews and five Canadian whisky brands will take centre stage. This special concert event celebrates great Canadian whisky and great Canadian music. It is part of LCBO’s annual whisky promotion that will be a night to remember! New this year is an exciting opportunity for all musicians and bands ages 19+ – the Whisky Rocks Showdown Competition! The top-three finalists, selected online by popular vote, win a slot to open for The Trews on November 8!”
We are very excited to see two of our favorite bands in the running and will be splitting our daily votes between the two. In My Coma and TimeGiant totally rock and if you have not heard them and like good hard rock check them out now! Even if you dont like our recommendations give all the bands a fair listen and vote for what tickles your fancy.
