Amos the Transparent Ottawa rockers Amos the Transparent are best known for their immersive live performances, it’s what has lead them to open for bands like The Parlotones and to be featured on CBC’s Q hosted by Jian Ghomeshi. She will be celebrating the upcoming release of her album, Little Bug, a hauntingly beautiful collection of songs about bittersweet endings and personal family histories that features collaborators like Jenn Grant on a track!

Their debut full-length release, Hunting Season, has been widely reviewed and broke the top 10 earshot charts earlier this year.

Andrew Seale, the man behind the moniker, creates ethereal and mesmerizing songs in front of live audiences with loops, delays and other effects. (**free show) Swing by the Khyber Centre for the Arts on Saturday, October 20 at 1PM for a day party stacked full of awesome bands from far and wide including Toronto’s Hands & Teeth, Ottawa’s Amos the Transparent, and Moncton’s Jessie Brown. Taking the party into the evening, Audio Blood and Spincount are pleased to bring their official HPX showcase to The Company House on Saturday, October 20. Folly The Hunter (Montreal), Revelstoke (Toronto), Gabrielle Papillon & the Mighty Oak (New Glasgow/Montreal), Willie Stratton (Halifax), and Mo Kenney (Halifax) are set to showcase their folk rock stylings to what’s sure to be a packed room.
