April 22 2013 – From the Sunday Special to the World Wide Web, comic strips are often one’s first exposure to the world of comics. With this in mind and to help celebrate their 10th Anniversary, Toronto Comic Arts Festival is excited to announce “The Toronto Strip Show,” featuring original thematically-linked comic strips from dozens of comic artists exhibiting at the 2013 Toronto Comic Arts Festival.
Please join us between 7pm-11pm on Wednesday, May 1st 2013 at Steam Whistle Brewing (255 Bremner Blvd) for the opening of this exciting gallery show and fundraiser auction. All pieces on display will be available for purchase during the silent auction. The Toronto Comic Arts Festival exists to showcase the breadth and diversity of the medium and this event will be no exception. For more information, please visit www.torontocomics.com.
The exhibit will also be on display during the month of May 2013.
